NEWS

20 March 2009 - A seriously ill wombat (see Gallery) has just been brought in from the fire affacted areas.

With the help of Belinda (daughter and registered nurse - see photo on the right) Robyn and David have been running the Plenty Gorge Wildlife Shelter for a long time.

Their smart and beautifully built enclosures currently hold four (about two year old) grey kanagaroos that are getting ready for release, one wallaby, three wombats and two ringtail possums.

With the support of Delfin they are currently building a new nursery (see Gallery below) allowing them to reclaim their own house again and treat the animals in a dedicated envirohnment. The building of the new nursery will commence in April 2009.
